Cheshire Police Ethics Panel

The Police & Crime Commissioner and Chief Constable are currently undertaking a recruitment process for their Ethics Panel.

The Ethics Panel is an independent body which reviews ethical issues impacting on the police service, such as the use of stop and search and use of force. The Panel will meet 2-3 times a year and be responsible for reviewing ethical issues and reporting back to the Commissioner and the Chief Constable on its findings.  Independent Panel members are not paid, but will be paid all reasonable expenses in relation to the role. Those selected to be on the Panel will also be subject to vetting.
