Training is a valuable commodity that, if viewed as an investment rather than an expense, can produce high returns. While it is true that training costs money and uses valuable employee/volunteer time and resources, studies show training provides a positive return on investment, sometimes in the neighbourhood of several hundred percent. Therefore, although training might seem like a luxury expense in tight financial times, it is, in fact, one of the most sure and sound investments available.

Halton and St Helens VCA offer a variety of accredited and non-accredited training and development opportunities for voluntary and community sector organisations, social enterprises, and the public and private sectors. These include a Rolling Programme of training, Individual Performance Coaching, Event Facilitation and Customised Training. All our training and development opportunities are delivered in a fun, relaxed and informal atmosphere, and are highly interactive and competitively priced. Delegates are given the opportunity to develop their learning and understanding through course exercises and case studies to reinforce learning. Where necessary we can also help you to identify and apply for funding to put your training plans in place.
We are currently planning our training and development programmes for the coming months, and we would like your help so that we can help you meet the needs of your organisation. We would therefore be grateful if you would take a few moments to complete our Training and Development Opportunities Questionnaire at the following link:
