Third Sector employers signing the Skills Pledge can unlock a £1,000 training bursary when they implement their training plan.

What is it?

The aim of the project is to stimulate and address demand for workforce development among Third Sector employers across Merseyside.

The Skills Pledge is a voluntary public commitment by the leadership of an organisation to support all its employees to develop their basic skills and work towards relevant qualifications to at least level 2.

In signing the Skills Pledge, funding of £1000 will be made available to the organisation to fund additional learning and skills provision that is not accessible through other routes such as Train to Gain.

Who is Eligible?

Any organisation can commit to the Skills Pledge, but not everyone can benefit from the £1,000 training bursary.

For example, organisations must be Voluntary & Community Sector Employers and employ 1-250 paid staff.
