Beware! Free Advertising Scam.

CVS have been contacted and warned of a possible telephone scam offering charity organisations free advertising in a community newsletter.
 

The caller states that he will put an advert in a Police Community News Letter free of charge but when asked he will not leave any contact details.

This information as been passed to CVS and we have been asked to alert our members of the possibility of it being.

If you do receive a call offering you free advertising space do check out the credentials of the caller before proceeding and if you are asked for a payment do not give any card details.
