NHS White Paper reforms

St Helens LINk is holding a series of events to ask people their views on wide-ranging changes to the NHS which aim to put the patient first.

The NHS White Paper has put forward reforms which include patients being more involved in their care, groups of GPs to have responsibility for buying most NHS services for their patients, the end of Primary Care Trusts and local councils to have a new public health role.

The first of these events will be held on Friday 24 September from 11am –1pm at Crownway Community Centre, Crown Street, Earlstown.
