Developing a Partnership Approach to Public Protection

Friday 10th February 2012.

A one day conference for practitioners and managers involved in the assessment and management of high risk offenders. This will include Responsible Authorities (Prisons, Police and Probation) and the range of Duty to Cooperate Agencies actively engaged in Multi Agency Public Protection work.

The conference will cover many significant topics, intended to be of benefit to the target audience and will give an opportunity to examine and discuss key issues and the development of MAPPA within Merseyside. This will be delivered via specialist speakers and cover topics such as:

· National MAPPA Developments.
· How MAPPA works locally and how effective it is.
· Safeguarding and MAPPA
· MAPPA – What Duty To Cooperate agencies need to know..

The event will conclude and approximately 4.00pm – lunch and refreshments will be provided.

The event is FREE to delegates but due to this being a multi-agency event places are strictly limited and likely to be oversubscribed. In the event of non attendance a fee of £50 will be charged to your agency.
