ESF Community Grants Funding Workshop

FREE 1 Week Employability Support Programme

Maximum Edge CIC is a local not for profit community interest company and have recently been awarded funding from Coalfields Regeneration Trust to deliver Employment Support Programmes for individuals who feel they would benefit with an opportunity to identify skills and strengths along with meeting potential employers with vacancies to fill. The next course starts on Monday 7th November and takes place at Thatto Heath Crusaders Centre and only has a limited spaces. Edge Grant Fund

Following the success of the Edge Foundation Innovation and Development Grant Fund, the Edge Foundation are delighted to announce a further programme of grant funding. The Edge Grant Fund will be available in alternate years, starting in 2016, then 2018 and 2020 after which the performance of the fund will be evaluated. The total grant fund for 2016 is set at £1m and is now open for applications.  Applications for funding are invited in respect of both short and long term projects that can either build on proven models of success or test new approaches within education and learning. ChAPS American Christmas Market

Support The Deafness Resource Centre

The Deafness Resource Centre are asking local Co-op members to "choose their local cause", and choose the Deafness Resource Centre. 1% of their money spent on co-op branded products will go towards their chosen cause. If they don't choose a cause, it will automatically be split between the three 'competing' causes. They are raising funds through the Co-op to support the self-help groups, including Tinnitus Support Group and Hard of Hearing Group. DRC would like to thank everyone who has already chosen them as their local cause...

Halton & St Helens VCA, working with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire have compiled a directory and on-line resource for Victims Services in Cheshire in the voluntary and community sector. The directory is for anyone who has been affected by crime in Cheshire, the website will help to find the advice and support needed. This information is provided to anyone who may need support regardless of whether a crime has been reported or when it happened...
